Proactive Portfolios Pty Ltd is a businses that has been established to bring to market investment solutions that leverage the skills and experience of proven investment professionals, drawing on the 3 critical portfolio optimisation levers -investment selection, asset allocation and buy/sell execution, in order to deliver investment outcomes that are consistent (relative to stated benchmarks), real (in excuss of costs) and importantlytransparent.

The objective of Proactive Portfolios is to make this expertise accessible in the form of implemented portfolios via Managed Account solutions - Separately Managed Accoutns (SMA) and Individually Managed Accounts (IMA), to a select range of advisory firms and their clients.

Our focus on SMA and IMA investment solutions is due to the advantages we believe they held over traditional managed fund solutions, due to a combination of:

-  the assets being held directly in the client's name
-  their greater transparency (fees, holdings)
-  the capacity for clients to more effectively arbitrage the tax consequences of their fund's investment holdings due to their being directly held.

Our People
Proactive Portfolios is managed and operated by a team of industry experts who collaborated to develop model portfolios for a major financial advisory business.  With proven results, that expertise has now been made more widely avaialble.

The Proactive Portfolio team combines expertise and experience in: investment management, product, stock and market research; distribution; and importantly - financial planning.

The Investement Committee members of our team include: James Purvis (CIO of Proactive Portfolios), Peter Mullens, Phil Clinton and Tony Hartley.  Supplementing this internal team are our external panel partners:
